The Cyber Risk Analyst joins the cybersecurity, technology risk management, and risk engineering teams to support risk assessment activities and strengthen governance processes. This role involves designing, testing, and maintaining AI-powered solutions, including agents, prompts, and orchestration logic, to improve assessment efficiency, consistency, and reporting accuracy. The individual will build tools to analyze responses, identify control gaps, and detect data inconsistencies while monitoring agent performance for security and explainability. Key responsibilities include managing system development frameworks, performing asset-level risk assessments, and developing dashboards to measure automation effectiveness. Required technical skills include Python, SQL, API development, Git or GitHub, and experience with generative AI platforms or large language models. The role requires applying NIST Cybersecurity and AI Risk Management Frameworks to solve complex governance and control validation challenges within a regulated environment.
Perform oversight, governance, and maintenance of system development frameworks and asset-level risk assessments.
Design, develop, and test AI agents and prompt logic to automate risk assessment workflows.
Build AI solutions to identify control gaps, detect data inconsistencies, and generate draft risk reports.
Monitor the performance, accuracy, and security of automated AI tools for responsible operation.
Analyze large datasets to identify emerging risks and trends requiring additional oversight.
Develop dashboards and metrics to measure the effectiveness of automation initiatives in risk management.
Translate technical findings into business risk language for communication across cross-functional teams.
What we're looking for
You must possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Risk Management, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, technology risk management, governance, risk and compliance, software engineering, data analytics, or a related field.
2+ years of experience using Python, SQL, API development/integration, Git or GitHub, and generative AI platforms or LLMs.
2+ years of experience applying NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST AI Risk Management Framework, and other risk assessment and governance practices.
Demonstrated ability to analyze data and communicate technical findings as business risks to cross-functional teams.
Experience supporting cybersecurity or technology risk in highly regulated industries like financial services (preferred).
One or more industry certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CompTIA Security+, PMP, or Agile certification (preferred).
