JOB TITLE: CVML Engineer - 3D Reconstruction The CVML Engineer - 3D Reconstruction joins the Video Computer Vision organization to develop breakthrough technologies for human-centric 3D solutions. In this role, you will research, adapt, and implement state-of-the-art 3D and 4D reconstruction algorithms specifically for geometry-driven health and fitness applications. Your daily work involves designing novel approaches that combine classical geometry with modern deep learning to produce high-quality ground truth data and robust runtime algorithms for on-device deployment. You will utilize Python, PyTorch, and C/C++ while applying expertise in multi-view geometry, linear algebra, and differentiable optimization. You will also work with SLAM, bundle adjustment, and photogrammetric reconstruction techniques to deliver production-ready code optimized for Apple silicon and mobile devices within a cross-functional team environment.

What you'll do

  • Research, adapt, and implement state-of-the-art 3D and 4D reconstruction algorithms for human understanding.
  • Develop geometry-driven algorithms for health and fitness applications.
  • Combine classical geometry with deep learning to produce high-quality ground truth data for training and evaluation.
  • Design and develop robust runtime algorithms for on-device deployment.
  • Deliver production-ready code optimized specifically for Apple silicon and mobile devices.
  • Define technical requirements and validation frameworks in coordination with cross-functional teams.

What we're looking for

  • BS degree in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Computer Graphics, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.
  • Deep understanding of multi-view geometry and 3D reconstruction pipelines.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch with solid software engineering practices.
  • Solid mathematical foundation in linear algebra, optimization, and geometry processing.
  • Experience with modern ML architectures and their applications to 3D problems.
  • MS or PhD in Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related fields (preferred).
  • Experience with human-centric 3D and 4D reconstruction, differentiable optimization, and geometric deep learning (preferred).
