The work addresses complex electrical rule checks and power integrity across various technology nodes to support advanced processor design.

What you'll do

Develop and maintain custom analog power intent methodology and circuit ERC solutions.
Create CAD flows for circuit recognition, topology identification, and netlist tracing.
Analyze electrical rule checks and power domain interactions for transistor-level designs.
Support voltage domain interactions including supply gating, isolation controls, and level shifting.
Lead the development and validation of custom circuit checker flows.
Evaluate and implement external EDA vendor packages and open-source solutions.
Validate ML-based applications in collaboration with Power and Technology teams.
Provide automation for rapid and dynamic design needs using Python, Perl, or TCL.

What we're looking for

BS degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
Experience in Electric Rules Checks (ERC), circuit tracing, and/or custom power intent tools, flows, and methodology.
Experience leading industry electrical engineering-focused software development projects.
Programming and scripting skills in Perl, Python, TCL, SKILL language, C++, or Shell.
Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Experience with operating principles of Analog/Digital/SRAM blocks, Spice Modeling, and Nano CMOS technologies (preferred).
Hands-on experience with SVRF, TCL, Liberty/.lib, UPF - IEEE1801, and CPF formats (preferred).
Exposure to industry low power tools such as Siemens Calibre PERC or Cadence Virtuoso (preferred).
