Senior Associate Conversation Design

What you'll do

• Design conversational flows for chat and voice tools while advancing NLU and LLM experiences.
• Contribute to the broader conversation design strategy regarding how design processes evolve when building with LLMs.
• Collaborate with machine learning teams to train and refine NLU models based on design principles.
• Translate design vision into tangible deliverables through storytelling, documentation, and persuasive presentations.
• Apply information architecture and storyboarding to improve navigation and findability for users.
• Conduct data-driven analyses to transform raw information into actionable insights for decision-making.
• Incorporate inclusive design principles and accessibility guidelines to ensure products serve a diverse range of users.
• Design and refine LLM prompts to influence reasoning and behavior across conversational AI systems.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of professional work experience as a voice/conversation designer.
• Experience designing conversational experiences for AI-driven platforms, IVRs, or virtual assistants.
• Previous experience designing specifically for Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Strong technical literacy regarding client-side technologies, APIs, and the technology stack's impact on user experience.
• Proficiency in inclusive design principles, accessibility guidelines, and assistive technologies.
• Experience interpreting complex data to transform it into actionable insights for decision-making.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and work autonomously within an agile environment.
