JOB TITLE: Consultant-SAP Public Cloud HANA SCM SD
As a Consultant-SAP Public Cloud HANA SCM SD within IBM Consulting, you will design, implement, and configure SAP HANA-based Supply Chain Management and Sales and Distribution solutions. You will work directly with clients to translate business requirements into functional solutions, optimizing their sales operations and increasing revenue. Your daily work involves configuring SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud systems, managing order-to-cash processes, and utilizing tools like SAP Central Business Configuration, SSCUIs, and Fiori apps. You must possess expertise in SAP Activate methodology, data migration via the Migration Cockpit, and integration with CRM, eCommerce, and EDI systems. The role solves complex business problems by aligning technical configurations with best practices in pricing, billing, and cross-functional integration with Finance, Purchasing, and Warehouse Management.
Design and implement SAP HANA-based SCM and SD solutions to meet specific client business requirements.
Configure SAP HANA systems to support SCM and SD operations with seamless integration and optimal performance.
Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops and identify process gaps using the SAP Activate methodology.
Configure OTC functionality independently using SAP Central Business Configuration, SSCUIs, and Fiori apps.
Manage data migration and cutover activities using the SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit.
Execute functional, integration, and regression testing while providing post-go-live hypercare support.
Integrate OTC processes with Finance, Purchasing, Materials Management, and Warehouse Management systems.
Translate complex business requirements into practical SAP solutions to optimize sales and distribution operations.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of hands-on SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) / Order-to-Cash experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP implementation consulting roles.
At least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition implementations with direct responsibility for OTC design and configuration.
Strong functional knowledge of SAP sales order management, pricing, billing, credit management, settlement management, returns, and delivery and shipping.
Demonstrated ability to independently configure, test, troubleshoot, and support OTC functionality using SAP Central Business Configuration, SSCUIs, and Fiori apps.
Proven experience with SAP Activate methodology, including leading Fit-to-Standard workshops and designing solutions aligned with SAP Best Practices.
Experience with advanced SAP HANA features, SCM/SD best practices, and industry knowledge in Utilities, Energy, Pharma, or Manufacturing (preferred).
