The Construction, Project Management & Sr. Program Manager serves as a critical lead within Global Workplace Services, establishing the operational backbone for global construction project delivery. This individual will author and maintain global standards, stage-gate playbooks, and process flows to ensure consistent execution across a diverse international portfolio. Key responsibilities include developing cost benchmarking methodologies, defining risk management frameworks, and managing the Program Management Office as a center of excellence. The role involves overseeing vendor teams, managing platform budgets, and coordinating with regional leads across multiple time zones. Essential skills include construction project management, capital project delivery, cost estimating, and data visualization using tools like Power BI. The position solves the challenge of maintaining global consistency while allowing for local flexibility in complex real estate environments involving various contract models and permitting requirements.
Author and maintain global construction delivery standards, stage-gate playbooks, and project management templates for regional teams and suppliers.
Establish common cost taxonomies, standardized budget structures, and benchmarking methodologies to ensure consistent performance tracking across all regions.
Define and manage global risk management frameworks, including assessment criteria, escalation thresholds, and mitigation reporting requirements.
Develop standard schedule structures and milestone definitions to make project performance measurable and comparable across the portfolio.
Lead the Program Management Office as a center of excellence for construction delivery tools, standards, and capability building.
Manage the vendor-delivered PgMO team by setting deliverables, quality standards, and overseeing their daily work cadence.
Oversee the platform budget, including annual forecasting, purchase order management, and monthly spend-versus-budget analysis.
Own the lifecycle of global contracts and Statements of Work for Tier 1 suppliers, including performance tracking and KPI reporting.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Real Estate, Project Management, or related field and 10+ years of experience in construction project/program management or capital project delivery.
Master's Degree in a related field and 8+ years of relevant experience, including direct experience delivering capital construction projects (preferred).
Experience defining or improving standards, playbooks, or operating models in a construction, real estate, facilities, or comparable enterprise-operations context (preferred).
Experience establishing cost, schedule, or risk frameworks and translating delivery data into standards and decisions for senior stakeholders (preferred).
Experience delivering capital construction projects across multiple regions within an outsourced service-delivery model (preferred).
Experience managing vendor or supplier delivery teams and third-party statements of work, including deliverable definition and performance standards (preferred).
Experience building cost taxonomies, standardized budget structures, or benchmarking methodologies for a global capital portfolio (preferred).
Experience leading a PMO or center of excellence, including standards governance and lessons-learned programs (preferred).
Proficiency interpreting project/portfolio data, setting reporting standards, and familiarity with construction contract models like GMP, design-build, FIDIC, and JCT (preferred).
Professional credentials such as PMP, CCM, RICS, or LEED; experience applying AI-assisted tools to estimating, scheduling, or reporting automation (preferred).
Experience owning a platform budget, forecast, and purchase order cycle, including accruals and supplier invoice validation (preferred).
Experience working across global time zones with regional teams; Spanish language skills are advantageous for LATAM engagement (preferred).
