The Connected Factory Engineer joins the Connected Factory Engineering team to provide technical stewardship of integration capabilities and platforms across Manufacturing Operations. What you'll do

  • Analyze existing processes and solutions to identify specific areas for optimization.
  • Translate business user requirements into detailed technical specifications.
  • Design and engineer technical capabilities to meet manufacturing business needs.
  • Create system documentation including architecture drawings, manual guides, and technical specifications.
  • Build and execute test protocols to ensure systems function according to specifications.
  • Author deployment instructions and implement them across various supported platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by users or identified via alerts.
  • Ensure all systems operate securely and comply with relevant industry regulations.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field plus 2 years of experience as a Developer, Systems Analyst/Admin, Engineer/Integrator, or similar role.
  • Master's degree with no experience required.
  • Experience working with Ignition, Kepware, OSI PI, HighByte, and/or AWS Cloud Services.
  • Proficiency in software design, programming languages, data integration, warehousing, analysis, visualization, network connectivity, and virtualization/cloud environments.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and consultative skills to work with clients and IT management staff.
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models, and their capabilities (preferred).
  • Experience in pharma, healthcare, or a regulated industry (preferred).
