What you'll do

  • Research and develop new computational photography algorithms for various imaging products.
  • Develop and tune AI-heavy features specifically for photography and video content.
  • Translate image processing code from Python into C++ for integration into core product codebases.
  • Deploy AI models using frameworks like CoreML, ONNX, or LiteRT across mobile and desktop platforms.
  • Implement advanced computer vision technologies to enhance features in Lightroom and Photoshop.
  • Develop innovative tools for the Project Indigo mobile camera application.
  • Optimize image processing performance on GPUs and other hardware accelerators.

What we're looking for

  • M.S. or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with computer vision, computational photography, and/or modern AI applied to these fields.
  • Strong programming skills including C/C++ and Python.
  • Experience with AI tools such as PyTorch, CoreML, LiteRT, or ONNX.
  • Interest in applying skills to problems in photography, videography, and imaging.
  • Experience in photography and videography, including a portfolio of personal work (preferred).
  • Knowledge of iOS or Android platforms and mobile app development environments (preferred).
  • Experience in programming on GPUs or other hardware accelerators (preferred).
