Senior Component Engineer

What you'll do

• Manage component level risk and ensure compliance with Lockheed Martin standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers to track roadmaps, end-of-life schedules, and new releases.
• Create and maintain Source Control Drawings (SCDs) in accordance with company processes.
• Conduct failure analysis and non-compliance investigations for prohibited items.
• Provide technical guidance on component qualification and performance risks to program managers.
• Partner with Design Engineers to select reliable components meeting performance goals.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Component Engineering or related fields.
• Proficient with component engineering obsolescence tools and product lifecycle management software.
• Knowledge of high-reliability military component standards and specifications.
• Experience with Siemens Xpedition EDM Library Cockpit and PTC Windchill software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain or possess DoD Secret security clearance.
