Component Engineer, Senior

What you'll do

• Ensure EEEE parts meet program-specific reliability and performance requirements.
• Select optimal parts for design teams, perform derating analysis, and conduct Worst-Case Analysis (WCA).
• Lead efforts to identify and mitigate risks related to counterfeit parts and part obsolescence.
• Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action (RCCA) for component failures or production anomalies.
• Participate in major program milestones and PMPCB meetings, interfacing with customers and suppliers.

What we're looking for

• Experience developing and applying technical requirements, specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Familiarity with military specifications (e.g., Mil-STD-883, Mil-PRF-19500) for EEE components.
• In-depth knowledge of EEE component families and their design, manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in radiation effects analysis, Worst-Case Analysis (WCA), derating principles, and end-of-life management.
• Active or current Top Secret clearance required; U.S. Citizenship necessary.
• Experience with non-conformance investigations, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and failure disposition activities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
