What you'll do

  • Automate compiler testing using internal frameworks and programming languages like Python, Perl, or Shell.
  • Track and report compiler performance changes while monitoring trends and identifying outliers.
  • Develop and review test plans and implement automated test cases for the compiler.
  • Integrate third-party tests into NVIDIA's existing test management frameworks.
  • Provide automated solutions for unit testing in collaboration with software compiler developers.
  • Maintain historical data and baselines to compare performance across different versions.
  • Identify process weaknesses and propose improvements to enhance overall quality and efficiency.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of work experience in a software development or test organization.
  • Experience programming and testing in C/C++/CUDA and scripting languages like Python, Perl, or Shell.
  • Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), High-Performance Computing (HPC), and Software Testing Methodologies.
  • Expertise in how compilers work and are implemented.
  • Experience writing test plans, performing test development, automation, execution, and reporting in a production environment.
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems, triage performance regressions, and work under tight schedules.
  • Familiarity with revision control (Git, Perforce) and management tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Make.
