Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

What you'll do

• Architect and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for machine learning and synthetic data platforms.
• Design and implement microservices and APIs from initial system design through production deployment.
• Optimize data storage, messaging, and service communication patterns for high throughput and low latency.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Helm Charts, and Kubernetes manifests.
• Use quantitative modeling and iterative prototyping to optimize performance, cost, and reliability.
• Drive cross-functional architecture alignment through design reviews and technical proposals.
• Mentor engineers and establish best practices for security, testing, and operational excellence.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science degree and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• At least 5 years of software engineering experience building and operating cloud infrastructure or distributed systems at scale.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, EKS, S3, ELB, and SQS.
• Experience with Kubernetes-based container orchestration and production operations.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.
• Strong programming skills in Go (Golang) for systems and service development.
• Proficiency in at least one additional full-stack language such as JavaScript or Python.
• Experience with relational databases like Postgres and NoSQL datastores in production environments.
