As a Cloud and DevOps Engineer II on the Clinical Solutions team, you will support the implementation and maintenance of custom-built software and enterprise-grade cloud solutions for clinical trial management systems. You will focus on automating deployment for cloud infrastructure and services while building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines. Your daily responsibilities include managing Azure PaaS and IaaS services, developing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Ansible, and ARM, and creating scripts in Python, PowerShell, and Bash to improve system reliability. You will also monitor infrastructure and microservices using Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor while collaborating with security and compliance teams. The role requires proficiency in Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Kafka, and .NET environments to solve complex technical challenges related to data management, storage, and processing within the medical device product area.

What you'll do

Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline deployment of applications, databases, and containerized services.
Automate cloud infrastructure and services to reduce manual intervention and improve operational efficiency.
Manage Azure PaaS and IaaS infrastructure to ensure scalable solutions for clinical trial management systems.
Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible to automate provisioning and management.
Create scripts and automation tools using Python, PowerShell, and Bash to optimize system reliability.
Monitor infrastructure, security, and microservices using Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
Optimize data management, storage, processing, and security across public and private cloud environments.
Manage capacity planning for cloud and on-premises resources to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Minimum 2 years of work experience.
Moderate knowledge of Agile methodologies and test-driven methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).
2+ years of experience as a Cloud/DevOps engineer with Azure PaaS and IaaS services (preferred).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Ansible, and containerized services (preferred).
Relevant Azure certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-104, or AZ-400 (preferred).
