Certified TEMPEST Professional

What you'll do

• Plan, prepare, execute, and review TEMPEST Test Plans and Test Reports in compliance with national standards.
• Perform TEMPEST services for programs with embedded crypto engines requiring compliance verification by test.
• Direct and oversee the use of RF/TEMPEST instrumentation including receivers, antennas, spectrum analyzers, and amplifiers.
• Perform RF emissions troubleshooting and diagnostics at the component, unit, and system levels.
• Derive TEMPEST-related hardware requirements and provide design engineering guidance on countermeasures during early development.
• Provide technical oversight, mentoring, and direct supervision of engineering personnel pursuing NSA CTP certification.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or related discipline and minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Graduate degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Active NSA TEMPEST CTP-I or CTP-II certification or demonstrated foundational knowledge with current training for the exam.
• Minimum US DoD SECRET Clearance required.
• Demonstrated understanding of electromagnetic concepts including RF isolation, shielding, grounding, and filtering.
• Hands-on experience operating RF and TEMPEST measurement instrumentation such as receivers, antennas, spectrum analyzers, and amplifiers.
• U.S. citizens.
