CDN Capacity & Infrastructure Manager, Infrastructure Services

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end capacity planning and forecasting models for CDN edge and origin infrastructure across short, medium, and long-term horizons.
• Analyze traffic patterns and bandwidth utilization across global points of presence to identify and mitigate capacity risks.
• Partner with engineering teams to plan and execute hardware deployments, decommissions, and regional capacity rebalancing.
• Build and maintain dashboards to track infrastructure utilization, headroom, and forecast accuracy against actual traffic.
• Lead capacity readiness reviews and stress testing ahead of major product launches and high-concurrency traffic events.
• Coordinate with vendors and colocation partners on hardware procurement, lead times, and site buildouts.
• Develop capacity models that account for traffic imbalance, failover scenarios, and regional redundancy requirements.
• Drive root-cause analysis on capacity-related incidents and present risk recommendations to engineering leadership.

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of experience in capacity planning, infrastructure engineering, or network operations in CDN, cloud, or large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience forecasting infrastructure capacity using traffic and usage data.
• Understanding of CDN architecture fundamentals including edge/PoP design, caching, traffic routing, and origin shielding.
• Experience using monitoring and analytics tooling to track utilization and performance metrics.
• Track record of coordinating cross-functionally with network engineering, SRE, and vendor/procurement teams.
• Familiarity with time-series forecasting methods or capacity modeling tools (preferred).
• Data analysis skills using SQL and/or scripting to build forecasting models and reporting (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE, or related field, or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
