As Head of Product for Trust and Safety at Square, you will lead the strategic direction of building and maintaining seller trust across multiple product areas including Risk Management, Identity Verification, Disputes, Fraud Prevention, Compliance, and Internal Tooling. You’ll unify two organizations into a cohesive unit, driving accountability for metrics such as Risk Loss Rate and Seller Trust while engaging with external partners to build out partnerships and integrations. This role requires deep expertise in regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks within the fintech landscape, along with experience leading product teams across multiple areas. Ideal candidates have a background in trust & safety, risk, identity, or compliance products, and can manage cross-functional alignment across large organizations. Familiarity with ML/AI-powered systems for fraud detection is beneficial, as well as knowledge of global regulatory frameworks like FATF and GDPR.

What we're looking for
8+ years of product management experience in complex organizations
Proven track record leading cross-functional teams and aligning strategies across large companies
Experience with trust & safety, risk management, identity verification, or compliance products
Strong background in regulatory requirements and compliance-driven product development
Demonstrated ability to unify and merge different product organizations effectively
Deep understanding of the fintech landscape and global regulatory frameworks
