What you'll do

  • Drive strategic planning and milestone delivery for the AI-powered biomedical research platform.
  • Forge strategic partnerships with academic, industry, and philanthropic stakeholders to accelerate mission goals.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a multidisciplinary executive team across research, technology, and operations.
  • Oversee program execution, resource allocation, and risk management for all consortium initiatives.
  • Manage the scaling and deployment of AI tools from neurodegeneration research to broader biomedical applications.
  • Ensure technical development aligns with scientific needs through "scientist-in-the-loop" collaboration.
  • Represent the organization in external forums to increase visibility and promote responsible AI practices.
  • Oversee budget planning, resource deployment, and the identification of new funding opportunities.

What we're looking for

  • A Master’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • An M.D. or Ph.D. is preferred for this role.
  • Candidates must have at least 7 years of progressive managerial responsibility.
  • Experience in AI, technology, life sciences, or related sectors is required.
  • Proven success building and scaling large, complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives or organizations is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build collaborations across academia, industry, and philanthropy is required.
  • A strong track record in partnership development and stakeholder engagement is required.
  • Familiarity with regulatory, legal, and ethical frameworks in biomedical research and AI is preferred.
