As a Business Systems Architect (Tax), you will join the Tax team to design and implement features for financial systems including Oracle Cloud Applications, Fusion Tax, and homegrown tax solutions. What you'll do

Design and implement features for financial systems including Oracle Cloud Applications and homegrown tax solutions.
Identify and execute automation opportunities and transformation initiatives to streamline tax processes.
Lead end-to-end project lifecycles for tax systems, from requirements gathering and system design to UAT and go-live support.
Act as a technology liaison to translate tax stakeholder needs into strategic roadmaps and technical solutions.
Develop and maintain complex data flows for sales tax, transfer pricing, and tax provisioning.
Create scalable system architectures based on industry best practices to support future growth.
Partner with engineering teams to develop technical solutions that optimize financial workflows and internal integrations.
Maintain data integrity, security, and SOX compliance controls across all tax applications.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
8 years of experience building and maintaining tax systems, including at least 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience.
8 years of experience building and implementing finance and compliance products at global scale.
8 years of experience with tax systems such as Sabrix, Vertex, Oracle EBTax, and Fusion Cloud Tax.
8 years of experience in program or project management.
8 years of experience designing internal financial systems for indirect or direct tax needs.
8 years of experience in reporting development using SQL, PL/SQL, or BI Publisher.
8 years of experience with taxation methods including VAT, Sales Tax, or GST and related global compliance requirements.
