What you'll do

Design Battery Management Units (BMU) from initial concept through to mass production.
Develop detailed electronic schematics, board-level designs, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Select electronic parts, integrated circuits, and specify custom parts for BMU use.
Create PCB layout guidelines and provide technical guidance to Layout Engineers.
Perform design analysis using simulation tools and calculations to verify performance requirements.
Develop and execute test methodologies and production test plans to validate prototype designs.
Conduct investigations into technical issues and prepare detailed reports for resolution.
Work with suppliers and contract manufacturers to develop custom parts and realize production designs.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or relevant field of study.
Experience in analog and/or power electronics design.
Experience in electronic circuit design/development with mixed signal systems or relevant.
Master's in Electrical Engineering or relevant field of study and 3+ years relevant industry experience (preferred).
Background in Power Electronics, Battery Management, Portable Consumer Electronics, Medical Electronics, or Automotive Electronics (preferred).
Experience with high volume manufacturing (preferred).
Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Shell, Unix, or MATLAB for test automation and data analysis (preferred).
Understanding of the silicon manufacturing process and semiconductor device creation (preferred).
