As the AWM- 55ip Product Manager- VP, you will join the Investment Platform & Capabilities team to define the product vision and strategy for managed account portfolios. You will serve as the Product Owner for order generation, review, and routing workflows, owning the product backlog and driving delivery across business and technology partners. Your daily responsibilities include facilitating discovery sessions, writing user stories, leading Agile ceremonies, and partnering with Tech Architects to assess architectural impacts. You will utilize Jira, Confluence, and AI-powered tools to accelerate workflows like drafting PRDs and generating user stories. The role focuses on solving complex problems in quantitative tax optimization, model marketplace capabilities, and seamless advisor workflows, specifically addressing tax-smart transitions and investment outcomes within a scalable technology platform.
Own the product backlog and drive delivery for order generation, review, and routing workflows.
Facilitate discovery sessions with stakeholders to identify pain points and define requirements for new investment capabilities.
Partner with engineering and design leads to define features, write user stories, and establish delivery plans.
Prioritize the backlog using quantitative signals such as usage data, client feedback, and business impact.
Lead Agile ceremonies and maintain high standards for backlog health, epic tracking, and release coordination.
Collaborate with Tech Architects to assess architectural impacts and contribute to target-state solutioning.
Translate product strategy into sequenced, actionable deliverables for multi-year roadmap planning.
Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate product workflows, including drafting PRDs and generating user stories.
What we're looking for
7+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or business analyst experience with a strong analytical background.
2+ years of experience related to portfolio management, order management, or managed accounts implementation within asset management, wealth management, or fintech.
Proficient in Agile tooling such as Jira and Confluence.
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and build trusted relationships across product, technology, operations, and business stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas clearly to senior leadership.
Experience with order management systems and workflows and their integration with investment platforms (preferred).
Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques and experience integrating AI-assisted workflows into product or knowledge management processes (preferred).
Formal project management experience (PMP, SAFe, or equivalent) in complex, multi-team delivery environments (preferred).
