The AVP, Product Owner AI PDLC will join the team to define how the enterprise builds software in the age of AI. This role owns the product definition, strategy, and roadmap for the AI Product Development Lifecycle platform and measurement framework. You will translate future-state PDLC requirements into personas, workflows, artifacts, and user stories while partnering with engineering, architecture, AI governance, and risk teams. Key responsibilities include managing the product backlog, leading pilot readiness activities, and defining measures such as DORA metrics, throughput, and cycle time. The role requires expertise in generative AI, AI agents, and AI-enabled software development. You will solve the business problem of turning emerging AI capabilities into a practical operating model to improve software development experience and delivery of business value.
Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and operating measures for the AI PDLC platform.
Translate the future-state PDLC into personas, workflows, user stories, and product requirements.
Define and evolve performance measures including DORA metrics, throughput, cycle time, and business value.
Partner with engineering, architecture, and governance teams to define agent lifecycle and orchestration requirements.
Lead pilot readiness activities including hypothesis development, baseline definition, and success criteria analysis.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog using data and stakeholder feedback to improve workflow efficiency.
Define enablement approaches, feedback mechanisms, and reporting frameworks to support platform adoption.
What we're looking for
7+ years of product management or product ownership experience supporting enterprise software, workflow, platform, or other complex technology products.
Experience translating complex business processes or operating models into product strategy, roadmaps, workflows, requirements, and measurable outcomes.
Experience leading cross-functional product delivery with engineering, design, architecture, data, and business stakeholders in a complex enterprise environment.
Working knowledge of software development lifecycles, product and delivery metrics, pilot design, and data-driven product decision-making.
Practical understanding of generative AI, AI agents, or AI-enabled software development and their application to enterprise workflows.
Experience in financial services or another regulated industry with governance, risk, privacy, records management, or supervisory requirements (preferred).
Experience with enterprise knowledge management, workflow and orchestration platforms, AI agents, or human-plus-agent operating models (preferred).
Experience developing product measurement frameworks, connecting operational metrics to business outcomes, and using pilot results to guide investment and scaling decisions (preferred).
