Automotive System Test Engineering

What you'll do

• Perform system testing and defect triaging aligned with industry best practices.
• Execute software simulation tests based on autonomous vehicle parameters and criteria.
• Review failing simulations and document accurate, programmatic reports of relevant failures.
• Create detailed test descriptions and diagrams for specific requirements.
• Use in-house tools to review simulation results and document exceptions for failing tests.
• Query existing dashboards to ensure data accuracy for the latest releases.
• Improve workflows through automation to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.

What we're looking for

• Working knowledge of Python and SQL for at least 2 years.
• Prior experience working on Waymo or a similar automotive domain.
• Experience in system testing and defect triaging aligned with industry best practices.
• US driving experience to enhance test effectiveness.
• Ability to conduct software simulation tests adhering to autonomous vehicle best practices.
• Ability to conduct triage on failing simulations and document failures in programmatic reports.
• Ability to create detailed test descriptions and diagrams for requirements.
• Ability to query existing dashboards to ensure data accuracy for the latest release.
