Automation Test Lead

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and maintain robust automated test frameworks across complex applications.
• Manage test data and develop automation scripts using tools like Playwright, Selenium, or Karate.
• Integrate GenAI technologies into the testing lifecycle to improve engineering productivity.
• Define and govern Quality Engineering standards, best practices, and operating models.
• Track and analyze quality metrics to reduce defects and prevent leakage.
• Diagnose and resolve complex defects across distributed systems and third-party integrations.
• Mentor QA teams on automation patterns, scalable test designs, and software engineering best practices.
• Improve system testability and reliability through direct code contributions and infrastructure collaboration.

What we're looking for

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in Quality Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience leading Quality engineering teams.
• Experience with programming languages including Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Karate, BDD, Selenium, Blazemeter/JMeter, and Test Data Management tools.
• Experience with DevOps/RE tools (Sonar, Nexus, Jenkins, uDeploy, Git, Splunk, Dynatrace, Terraform, AppScan, Checkmarx, CA DevTest) and cloud technologies (AWS or GCP).
• Experience with cross-browser testing, Gen AI tools, Agile/SAFe methodologies, and reporting tools (preferred); insurance knowledge and creating test AI agents (preferred).
