The Associate Director, Information Systems serves as a technology leader for the Value and Access organization, overseeing a portfolio of products including Coverage Pricing Intelligence, CapAI, and Pricing capabilities. This role involves defining strategic roadmaps, leading cross-functional Agile teams, and translating business strategy into scalable technology solutions to accelerate Commercial Operations. Key responsibilities include driving PI Planning, managing backlogs, and overseeing platform operations and incident management. The position requires expertise in modern data and analytics platforms such as Databricks, Python, SQL, and Apache Spark, alongside cloud-native architectures on AWS. Candidates must navigate complex requirements involving machine learning, Generative AI, and Large Language Models. The work focuses on delivering secure, resilient data and AI solutions within a highly regulated pharmaceutical and healthcare industry context.
Serve as the technology leader for agile teams supporting Coverage Pricing Intelligence, CapAI, and Pricing capabilities.
Define and execute the strategic product roadmap and investment priorities by translating business objectives into prioritized capabilities.
Lead product execution by driving PI planning, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and dependency management.
Establish and monitor OKRs and delivery performance metrics including predictability, flow, and business value realization.
Drive AI and advanced analytics initiatives using modern data platforms, machine learning, and Generative AI.
Provide leadership for platform operations, including production support, incident management, and root cause analysis.
Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, cloud-based data and AI solutions aligned with enterprise architecture.
Lead, coach, and develop cross-functional team members while fostering a high-performing culture focused on accountability.
What we're looking for
Must meet one of the following: Doctorate with 3 years of Information Systems experience, Master’s with 7 years, Bachelor’s with 9 years, Associate’s with 12 years, or High school diploma/GED with 14 years.
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience directly managing people or leading teams, projects, programs, or resource allocation.
Experience leading enterprise technology products or platforms supporting analytics, pricing, commercial operations, business intelligence, or AI-enabled business capabilities (preferred).
Strong technical understanding of modern data platforms including Databricks, Python, SQL, Apache Spark, and cloud-native data engineering architectures (preferred).
Experience delivering scalable cloud-based technology solutions on AWS, including analytics platforms, data pipelines, and machine learning workloads (preferred).
Experience delivering data science, machine learning, and AI-powered products from concept through production deployment (preferred).
Understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models, RAG, AI agents, and responsible AI practices (preferred).
Experience working in Agile product organizations using SAFe methodologies (preferred).
