Associate Director, External Data Acquisition and Delivery

What you'll do

• Lead the strategic oversight and operational execution of external data acquisition and delivery for clinical trials.
• Ensure compliance and quality in external data collection from third-party vendors through rigorous review processes.
• Develop and maintain Data Transfer Specification documents to align with Regeneron’s standards and timelines.
• Drive vendor oversight, including onboarding, qualification, governance, and performance monitoring.
• Govern reconciliation activities between EDC systems and vendor platforms to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Mentor and develop a team of EDAD Managers, Specialists, and associates through coaching and performance management.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in clinical data acquisition/management within biotech/pharmaceutical industries.
• At least 4 years of people management experience.
• Expertise managing multiple external data types including biomarker, imaging, eCOA, ECG, PK, genomics, and laboratory data.
• Advanced knowledge of external data reconciliation processes and EDC platforms like Medidata Rave, Veeva, or Oracle Inform.
• Proven ability to handle external vendor relationships and ensure quality deliverables.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Experience driving process improvements and overseeing vendor performance in regulated environments.
