Associate Director, Digital Product Operations - Measurement & Reporting serves as a product management subject matter expert within the Digital Product Operating Model. This individual contributor role focuses on guiding the enterprise measurement and reporting space to evaluate adoption, maturity, team health, and artifact quality across various business functions. The successful candidate will develop measurement strategies, define standards for indicators, and build executive-ready dashboards and scorecards to inform leadership decisions regarding coaching and investment. Key responsibilities include conducting maturity assessments of product management capabilities and translating findings into improved playbooks and training materials. Required skills include proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Jira Align, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and ChatGPT. The role addresses the challenge of transforming complex data into actionable insights to improve operating-model effectiveness within a highly regulated biotechnology environment.
Lead the enterprise measurement strategy for product management maturity, team health, and artifact quality across multiple business functions.
Develop a comprehensive measurement framework to distinguish meaningful signals of adoption and value from simple activity metrics.
Own the design and evolution of executive dashboards, scorecards, and reporting mechanisms for leadership review.
Conduct regular assessments of product management capabilities to identify maturity gaps and areas requiring coaching or investment.
Translate complex data and qualitative insights into clear narratives that inform senior leadership decision-making.
Partner with technical teams to ensure measurement systems are scalable, secure, and integrated with AI-native workflows.
Influence cross-functional partners to align on measurement standards and prioritize improvements to the product operating model.
Coach product managers on reporting, maturity assessment, and the creation of high-quality product artifacts.
What we're looking for
Must have one of: Doctorate with 3 years experience; Master’s with 7 years; Bachelor’s with 9 years; Associate’s with 12 years; or High school/GED with 14 years in relevant fields.
Must have at least 3 years of experience managing people, leading teams/projects, or directing resource allocation.
Experience must be in Digital Product, Product Management, Product Leadership, Digital Transformation, Technology Strategy, or related areas.
(preferred) 7+ years of progressive experience in product operations, digital product management, analytics, enterprise measurement, or technology strategy.
(preferred) Demonstrated ownership of complex product, operating-model, measurement, or transformation problems across multiple teams.
(preferred) Experience shaping measurement strategies, maturity models, adoption frameworks, and executive dashboards for product teams.
(preferred) Expert understanding of product management practices including roadmaps, OKRs, discovery, prioritization, and lifecycle management.
(preferred) Experience building reporting mechanisms using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Jira Align, Jira, Confluence, or SharePoint.
