What you'll do

  • Build and lead an enterprise security posture and hygiene program including strategy, roadmap, and governance.
  • Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team through hiring, coaching, and performance management.
  • Use AI as an accelerator to drive efficiency in continuous control monitoring and response.
  • Integrate telemetry from AI tools to detect misuse, configuration drift, and critical control deviations.
  • Develop and mature a control framework aligned with CIS Top 18 Controls for enterprise environments.
  • Establish methodologies to assess control maturity and prioritize remediation based on risk and impact.
  • Partner with infrastructure and engineering teams to embed secure-by-default configurations and resilient architectures.
  • Create metrics, dashboards, and executive reports to provide actionable insights into posture trends.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree with 9 years of experience, Master's with 8 years, or PhD with 4 years of experience.
  • Proven leadership in cybersecurity and managing security posture and hygiene strategies within complex IT environments.
  • Experience implementing an AI security program across an enterprise.
  • Expert knowledge of operating systems, networking protocols, systems administration, X as a service, applications, and security technologies.
  • Expert knowledge of cybersecurity terminology, concepts, the cyber threat landscape, and attack vectors.
  • Deep understanding of risk management principles integrated into security practices.
  • Advanced critical thinking, problem solving, analytical skills, and strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Professional cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CIS Controls (preferred).
