Vice President, Assessments & Exercises, Cloud Resiliency Testing

What you'll do

• Design and execute enterprise-wide cloud resiliency exercises using repeatable scenarios and standardized metrics to measure recovery performance.
• Map critical user journeys and service dependencies to validate system behavior under disruptions across network, identity, and data layers.
• Develop scenario-based testing aligned to plausible disruptive events and convert findings into prioritized remediation plans.
• Lead the adoption of modern resiliency testing standards, tools, and operating rhythms across various technology teams.
• Utilize enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to automate control evaluations and draft executive-ready assessment reports.
• Provide subject matter leadership to shape firmwide resiliency standards while balancing specific business unit constraints.
• Deliver concise, decision-ready updates to senior stakeholders regarding risk framing, business impact, and remediation progress.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on security and cloud concepts.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, platform reliability, or cybersecurity engineering.
• Experience designing, building, and operating solutions in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).
• Experience designing and executing resiliency, disaster recovery, or failure-based testing exercises for applications and infrastructure.
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support assessment workflows with strong validation habits and data sensitivity awareness.
• Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and ability to implement resiliency controls through automated patterns.
• Strong communication skills to influence senior stakeholders and translate technical findings into prioritized risk actions.
• Experience in security architecture, familiarity with industry frameworks (NIST, CIS, OWASP), or relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM) (preferred).
