What you'll do

Execute architectural visions for complex IT systems while ensuring alignment with enterprise blueprints.
Develop technology roadmaps by identifying emerging technologies to guide business direction.
Translate complex business problems into scalable, technically sound architectural solutions.
Design and develop hardware and software interfaces using engineering principles.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Advise senior leaders on infrastructure needs including desktop platforms and communication links.
Assess risks and ensure all designs comply with firm policies and regulatory requirements.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, potentially a Master's degree.
6+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise IT architecture, systems design, or a related technical discipline.
Expertise in end-to-end systems design including hardware-software integration and platform engineering.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure to deploy scalable, cloud-native solutions.
Proficiency in programming languages including Java, Python 3.10+, TypeScript, or COBOL.
Experience with integration technologies like TIBCO, Apache Kafka, or MuleSoft for mission-critical systems.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (OpenShift or Amazon EKS preferred).
Proficiency in CI/CD tools, relational/NoSQL databases, and monitoring solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
