Architect Senior Principal Engineer, Oracle SaaS

What you'll do

• Design and build high-availability and service continuity solutions across the entire infrastructure, database, platform, and application stack.
• Drive the technical architecture of service continuity solutions for Oracle’s SaaS cloud environment.
• Develop next-generation availability and resiliency features to ensure seamless service delivery during large-scale incidents.
• Architect and implement services that operate at scale within a distributed computing environment.
• Contribute to the overall product strategy for SaaS engineering and infrastructure.
• Develop automation tools using Python or other scripting languages to improve system operations.
• Ensure all SaaS services are engineered with the highest levels of resilience and fault tolerance.

What we're looking for

• MS/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• 10+ years of experience in system/application architecture, design, database, infrastructure, and networking.
• 6+ years of software development experience in a distributed cloud engineering environment.
• Strong technical knowledge in SaaS or PaaS engineering and building large-scale applications.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, or similar object-oriented languages.
• Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud-native components, and Python or other scripting languages for automation.
• Experience developing resilient, fault-tolerant systems and collaborating across multiple engineering teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to present complex information clearly in an agile environment.
