Architects, Software Development joins the Software Development team to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native infrastructures. This role involves designing and managing Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications at large scale while building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and deployment. The architect will define Infrastructure-as-Code standards using Terraform or CloudFormation and implement monitoring systems using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or AWS CloudWatch. The technical environment includes Istio, Docker, OpenSearch, Ansible, Python, Jenkins, GIT, Apache HTTPD, Nginx, Oracle WebLogic, Tomcat, and Linux/UNIX. The role addresses critical telecommunications challenges including STIR/SHAKEN, Branded Call Display, Rich Call Display, fraud call detection, spam call identification, and robocall mitigation. Candidates will utilize these tools to ensure high-performance development workflows and maintain robust security across all cloud environments.
Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native infrastructures using AWS or GCP.
Manage large-scale Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications requiring high availability and high throughput.
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and deployment workflows.
Define and enforce Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) standards using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or AWS CloudWatch.
Ensure compliance with security and governance policies across all cloud and container environments.
Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to continuously improve internal DevOps capabilities.
What we're looking for
A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field plus 2 years of software development experience is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field plus 5 years of progressive software development experience is acceptable.
Experience designing and implementing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native infrastructures using AWS or GCP.
Proficiency in managing large-scale Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications.
Ability to build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and enforce Infrastructure-as-Code standards using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Expertise in monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or AWS CloudWatch.
Proficiency with technical tools including Istio, Docker, OpenSearch, Ansible, Python, Jenkins, and Git.
Experience with Linux/UNIX systems and various middleware technologies like Oracle WebLogic, Tomcat, and Nginx.
