Applied AI Engineer I, Supply Chain

What you'll do

• Build and maintain LLM applications like Text-to-SQL or RAG systems for querying supply chain data via natural language.
• Develop proactive alerting systems that monitor data streams to detect anomalies and provide automated recommendations.
• Create agentic AI workflows to automate actions such as rerouting shipments, generating purchase orders, and managing vendor communications.
• Design and implement machine learning models for supply chain optimization tasks like route planning and demand forecasting.
• Write production-ready code to extract, clean, and preprocess large datasets from core operational systems.
• Translate complex operational pain points into actionable AI solutions by collaborating with domain experts.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and standard data manipulation libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience querying relational databases to support conversational data retrieval.
• Experience building LLM applications including Text-to-SQL or RAG systems.
• Ability to write production-ready code for extracting, cleaning, and preprocessing large datasets.
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices including Git, Docker, API development, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Preferred experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and event-driven architectures.
