Applications Developer II, ServiceNow

What you'll do

• Design and develop scalable ServiceNow solutions for ITSM, CMDB, and core platform capabilities.
• Integrate and configure Now Assist features to automate workflows and enhance agent productivity using generative AI.
• Build and maintain integrations with external systems like JIRA and Workday using REST/SOAP APIs and Flow Designer.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines including source control, automated testing, and application lifecycle management.
• Manage CMDB health by implementing Discovery Patterns, IRE rules, and CSDM standards.
• Establish guardrails and reusable components to govern and enable safe citizen development on the platform.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to end users for platform-related issues.
• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, workflows, and processes to ensure compliance and knowledge sharing.

What we're looking for

• Must have 6+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer/Engineer on enterprise-scale implementations.
• Must possess ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) certifications.
• Must have expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS, AJAX, and ServiceNow scripting components like Business Rules and Script Includes.
• Must have hands-on experience with Now Assist technologies, including generative AI workflows and skill kits.
• Must have deep knowledge of ITSM modules and CMDB configuration using CSDM standards.
• Must have proven experience implementing CI/CD practices for ServiceNow, including source control and automated testing.
• Must have experience designing complex integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and Flow Designer.
• Must be able to support and govern citizen development by establishing guardrails and reusable components.
