Application Support Analyst
The Application Support Analyst joins the Stored Value Solutions division to manage and resolve escalated incidents for both new and legacy applications. This role involves collaborating with development teams, promoting new client configurations and programs from certification environments to production, and establishing standard or custom reporting for clients. Daily responsibilities include analyzing systems to diagnose issues, proposing technical solutions, preparing program specifications and diagrams, developing coding logic, and creating user manuals. The position requires a candidate skilled in object-oriented languages and frameworks, relational database management systems, web technologies, and SQL. Essential competencies include independent problem-solving, clear communication, and the ability to translate operating procedures into program objectives. This role specifically addresses technical challenges within the stored value payment sector by maintaining software integrity and ensuring seamless functionality for complex financial transaction systems.
Resolve escalated incidents for new and legacy applications.
Promote new client configurations and programs from certification environments to production.
Set up standard and custom reporting for new clients.
Diagnose issues with the development, modification, and maintenance of application systems.
Plan, investigate, and propose solutions for system and application problems.
Create and update user manuals and other technical documentation.
Develop coding logic and prepare program specifications and diagrams.
Conduct training sessions and presentations for users.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
1-2 years of work experience in a related field.
Hands-on experience in object-oriented language/frameworks, relational database management systems, web technologies, and software application development platforms.
Familiarity with SQL.
Excellent communication, design, and documentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to problem solve independently.
