What you'll do

Design, build, and maintain data pipelines to support the monthly profitability close.
Automate manual close steps to reduce reliance on high-touch spreadsheets.
Develop scripts and machine learning models for quality control, anomaly detection, and reconciliations.
Extract, transform, and deliver financial data to stakeholders on a recurring cadence.
Prototype and deploy agentic and LLM-enabled tools for daily team use.
Scope and deliver value-add initiatives in partnership with Finance, Technology, and P&A.
Communicate results, methodology, and key considerations clearly to senior stakeholders.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or a related discipline.
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or a related discipline (preferred).
7+ years of experience in data engineering and/or data science, ideally in financial services.
Advanced SQL and Python skills.
Hands-on experience building data pipelines on Databricks or a similar cloud platform.
Experience applying machine learning to real business problems.
Demonstrated track record of automating manual processes and designing maintainable analytics workflows.
Experience with financial close, profitability, FP&A, and/or reconciliation processes (preferred).
Hands-on experience building LLM or agentic solutions (preferred).
