Machine Learning Researcher, Speech

What you'll do

• Run state-of-the-art speech models efficiently on-device.
• Conduct foundational research in speech technology and machine learning.
• Advance the state-of-the-art in Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and speech language models.
• Publish research results in high-quality scientific venues and top conferences.
• Prepare technical reports for publication and conference talks.
• Design, experiment, and implement solutions for formulated research problems.
• Ensure all research results are reproducible and of high quality.

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated expertise in machine learning research.
• Publication record in relevant machine learning or speech conferences and journals.
• Hands-on experience working with deep learning toolkits such as PyTorch.
• Strong mathematical skills in linear algebra and statistics.
• PhD, or equivalent practical experience, in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Ability to formulate research problems and design, experiment, implement, and communicate solutions (preferred).
• Ability to work in a diverse, collaborative environment (preferred).
• High-quality open-source contributions to related projects (preferred).
