What you'll do

Architect and develop scalable, production-ready AI/ML solutions for the AMD product portfolio.
Develop and deliver machine learning reference solutions that demonstrate end-to-end value for specific application segments.
Implement and train machine learning models using common frameworks, including fine-tuning and hardware deployment.
Manage production runtime serving of machine learning applications and integrate demonstration software.
Define AI solution roadmaps and provide technical guidance to internal product and business teams.
Analyze emerging AI trends and integrate new concepts into the reference solution roadmap.
Benchmark AI solutions across major cloud environments including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Develop software using Python and C/C++ and publish contributions to open-source repositories.

What we're looking for

Applicants must possess a BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related equivalent.
The role requires comprehensive knowledge of machine learning architectures, models, and industry developer tools.
Prior work experience in developing production software solutions and CI/CD methods is critical.
Candidates must be proficient in developing in Python and C/C++, and deploying solutions within Jupyter notebooks.
Experience with deployed production runtime serving of machine learning applications is required.
Experience with emerging software frameworks for Generative AI and Agentic AI is required.
Experience publishing to open source, including GitHub repositories and industry collaborations, is required.
Full stack software experience and history of impactful contributions to open-source projects are preferred.
