What you'll do

  • Identify core research challenges and design novel prototype solutions for artificial intelligence.
  • Conduct foundational research on training algorithms, fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, and inference-time scaling.
  • Develop multi-modal systems covering vision, speech, language, and code.
  • Build and implement large-scale machine learning systems using Python and PyTorch.
  • Manage the full research lifecycle from initial ideation to project completion.
  • Validate research findings through rigorous experimentation and quantitative analysis.
  • Author technical papers for submission to leading conferences and file patent applications.
  • Create high-impact technical demonstrations to communicate complex research concepts.

What we're looking for

  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Candidates must have a deep theoretical understanding of LLMs, VLMs, and Transformer-based architectures.
  • Proficiency in Python for rapid prototyping and implementing large-scale machine learning systems is required.
  • Candidates must demonstrate strong quantitative analysis and problem-solving skills to deconstruct complex research problems.
  • A track record of innovation through peer-reviewed publications or preprints is required.
  • Advanced expertise in PyTorch and full-cycle development of algorithms and systems is preferred.
  • Experience with generative AI and multimodal models from training to testing is preferred.
