The AI Engineering Analyst will join the team to internalize and scale the Helix agentic statistical programming platform. This role involves testing system designs, developing agents to expand the platform across various therapeutic areas, and optimizing business workflows. The role requires proficiency in programming languages like Python and R, as well as experience with modern AI frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph. You will solve complex problems within clinical development by creating automated processes for data transformation, metadata extraction, and large-scale system management to support advanced analytics projects.

What you'll do

Build production-grade AI solutions including agent platforms, co-pilots, and code generation harnesses using enterprise frameworks.
Evaluate foundation models and agent architectures based on reliability, security, cost, and business impact.
Develop and maintain large-scale system architectures and databases to support clinical development analytics projects.
Create data products for transformation, metadata extraction, workload management, and error processing.
Implement automated operational and quality control processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Design and develop data set processes for modeling, mining, and production.
Optimize existing AI solutions by improving quality, latency, cost efficiency, and governance.
Research new tools and techniques to improve internal data pipelines and workflows.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s or Master's degree in statistics, mathematics, analytics, bioinformatics, data science, computer science, or a related field.
4+ years of experience for BS holders, 2+ years for MS holders, or 1+ year for PhD holders in the relevant field.
At least 1 year of experience building production-grade AI solutions using frameworks like LangGraph, LangChain, or Strands Agents.
Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language such as Python, R, Java, Scala, C, C++, C#, Swift/Objective C, or JavaScript.
End-to-end experience with data including querying, aggregation, analysis, and visualization.
Experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
Preferred experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and publishing analytics via R Shiny or Plotly Dash.
Strong communication skills to explain complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences in a fast-paced environment.
