AI Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, test, and optimize AI and ML models for cloud, edge, and hybrid environments.
• Implement robust deployment pipelines and MLOps workflows for mission-critical solutions.
• Integrate AI models with enterprise systems and secure, scalable data pipelines.
• Lead feature engineering approaches and support model fine-tuning and retraining cycles.
• Develop monitoring frameworks to detect model drift and performance degradation.
• Evaluate emerging AI frameworks and select best-fit architectures for operational needs.
• Analyze datasets and apply advanced statistical techniques to ensure model readiness.

What we're looking for

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
• Possess an HS diploma or GED and 6+ years of experience with data science or AI and ML engineering.
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience with data science or AI and ML engineering.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or Rust.
• Experience developing, training, validating, and deploying AI and ML models.
• Experience optimizing AI and ML models.
• Knowledge of computing, storage, and networking requirements across model training, tuning, and inference phases.
• Knowledge of model evaluation techniques.
• Ability to design and implement model deployment pipelines and MLOps workflows.
• Ability to implement monitoring frameworks for detecting model drift, performance degradation, and operational issues.
• Experience with distributed compute frameworks (preferred).
• Experience working in mission-focused or national security environments (preferred).
• Experience evaluating new AI model architectures (preferred).
• Knowledge of secure AI engineering best practices such as adversarial robustness, model governance, or NIST AI RMF (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
