AI Engineer 6, AI Foundation & Tooling, Ads Platform

What you'll do

• Architect and build a centralized context layer to provide AI agents with team-specific knowledge.
• Design and implement agentic workflows for code generation, automated test creation, and PR pre-reviews.
• Build AI-powered operational workflows for automated incident triage, log correlation, and root cause analysis.
• Develop multi-agent orchestration systems to coordinate implementation, testing, and documentation tasks.
• Set up standardized AI development environments to enable an AI-first workflow for all engineers.
• Drive team-wide AI adoption through hands-on pairing sessions, architecture reviews, and workflow demonstrations.
• Build production-grade systems using LLMs, agentic frameworks, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of significant focus on applied AI systems.
• Proven experience building and deploying agentic AI systems in production, including architectures, tool integration, orchestration, and evaluation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience setting up AI infrastructure for end-to-end software development workflows like AI coding assistants and automated testing.
• Deep experience with retrieval-augmented generation, including document indexing, embedding strategies, retrieval pipelines, and grounding techniques.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals to build production-grade systems.
• Proficiency in Python and/or JVM languages.
• Demonstrated ability to drive technical adoption across a team through pairing, architecture reviews, and workflow demonstrations.
• Prior experience as the first or early AI engineer on a team (preferred).
