As an AI deployment and foundry enablement engineering - Intern 2027, you will join the AI Deployment & Foundry Enablement team to accelerate the development, deployment, and operationalization of AI-powered solutions. Working alongside software and AI engineers, you will build tooling, automation, and services that enable scalable AI application deployment. This role requires proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, C#, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript. You must demonstrate knowledge of software engineering principles, data structures, algorithms, and version control systems like Git. The work involves applying modern software development practices, cloud technologies, and DevOps methodologies to solve technical problems within the specific domain of semiconductor manufacturing for quantum chips and quantum wafer production.
Build tooling, automation, and services to enable scalable AI application deployment.
Develop and operationalize AI-powered solutions across the organization.
Work with software and AI engineers to accelerate technology deployment.
Implement modern software development practices and cloud technologies.
Utilize DevOps methodologies to support AI platform integration.
Apply software engineering principles to develop and maintain applications.
Use version control systems like Git to manage codebases.
What we're looking for
High School Diploma/GED.
Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
Completion of coursework in Software Development, Data Structures and Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming, Database Fundamentals, Computer Networks, or Cloud Computing (preferred).
Experience developing software as part of academic, personal, or extracurricular projects.
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, C#, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Understanding of software engineering principles, application development methodologies, and familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
