AI and ML Research Scientist

What you'll do

• Drive end-to-end computer vision research and development to move prototypes toward operational applications.
• Mature algorithms and harden training or inference pipelines for deployment across engineering and research groups.
• Formulate agentic AI research by surveying problem spaces and defining research questions with evaluation criteria.
• Operationalize machine learning models using containerization, data architecture, and cloud computing platforms.
• Develop and apply innovative AI methodologies for maritime and ground market applications.
• Author patents, peer-reviewed papers, and code submissions to shape the future of analytics.
• Execute complex data exploration and analytics projects using Python and Embedded C.

What we're looking for

• Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Experience driving end-to-end computer vision research and development from prototypes to operational applications.
• Experience partnering across engineering and research groups to mature algorithms and harden training or inference pipelines.
• Experience formulating agentic AI as new fundamental research, including scoping the problem space and defining research questions.
• Knowledge of hierarchical classification, 2D-3D representation, deep learning, Agentic AI, multi-view geometry, and synthetic data generation.
• Experience establishing evaluation protocols such as benchmarks, ablations, and error analyses (preferred).
• Knowledge of domain adaptation, multi-modal models, and robust pose estimation (preferred).
