TL;DR · Agentic AI and Data Engineer

JOB TITLE: Agentic AI and Data Engineer As an Agentic AI and Data Engineer, you will join a large community of AI and ML engineers to design, develop, and deliver production-grade agentic AI systems. You will architect modular, reusable patterns for autonomous workflows, integrating multiple model providers and modern GenAI stacks. Your daily responsibilities include building components for prompting, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), tool execution, and memory management while designing evaluation frameworks to measure correctness and safety. You will utilize Python, LangChain, and vector databases to develop data pipelines for structured and unstructured data. The role involves solving complex technical problems related to multi-modal reasoning, latency optimization, and secure deployment on AWS using Docker or Kubernetes. You will also implement guardrails and asynchronous programming to ensure reliable, goal-directed autonomy in mission-critical systems.

What you'll do

  • Design and architect modular agentic AI systems that support multiple model providers and deployment modes.
  • Build reusable components for prompting, retrieval, orchestration, tool execution, and memory management.
  • Integrate LLMs, RAG pipelines, and structured outputs into production-ready systems.
  • Develop data pipelines for ingesting, cleaning, and indexing structured and unstructured data.
  • Implement evaluation frameworks to measure the correctness, robustness, safety, and business impact of AI systems.
  • Optimize models and workflows for cost, latency, reliability, and scalability using systematic benchmarking.
  • Deploy AI services securely at scale using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless approaches.
  • Apply CI/CD and eval-driven development best practices to automate testing and versioning of prompts and agents.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in a CS or Engineering field.
  • 2+ years of experience with software engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in AI or ML-focused roles in a professional work environment.
  • Experience with an object-oriented programming language such as Python for AI/ML solution development.
  • Experience designing and implementing production-grade generative or agentic AI applications.
  • Experience with AI orchestration frameworks like LangChain, RAG architectures, and asynchronous or event-driven programming patterns.
  • Knowledge of data processing techniques for text, audio, and multi-modal data.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Experience with agent frameworks such as LangGraph or MCP (preferred).
  • Experience with model fine-tuning, prompt tuning, or reinforcement learning (preferred).
  • Experience designing evaluation suites or safety testing frameworks for AI systems (preferred).
  • Experience delivering AI solutions in client-facing engagements (preferred).
  • Experience with React and modern front-end libraries (preferred).
  • Experience with in-browser or edge AI execution and performance optimization (preferred).
  • Experience with developer productivity tools such as Cursor and Windsurf (preferred).
  • Secret clearance (preferred).
  • Master’s degree in CS, AI, or a related field (preferred).
  • AWS Machine Learning, Data Engineer, or Solutions Architect Certification (preferred).
