What you'll do

  • Deliver new features, enhancements, and defect fixes across brownfield enterprise applications.
  • Translate Jira stories and business rules into working software using AI agents.
  • Direct AI agents to perform codebase discovery, impact analysis, refactoring, and test generation.
  • Analyze existing application behavior, data models, and legacy business rules before making changes.
  • Create and improve reusable prompts, agent instructions, and workflow templates for engineering tasks.
  • Develop automated unit, integration, regression, and security tests to ensure code quality.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery including code reviews, CI/CD execution, and production validation.
  • Use AI-assisted log analysis and observability tools to perform root cause investigation and incident response.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience delivering changes in complex brownfield enterprise applications.
  • Experience with C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, ASP.NET, REST APIs, SQL Server, Azure services, and integration technologies.
  • Experience with Git, pull requests, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production release practices.
  • Ability to reverse engineer behavior from code, tests, logs, databases, and business feedback with incomplete documentation.
  • Effective use of GitHub Copilot, coding agents, and prompting for engineering tasks like refactoring and test creation.
  • Ability to validate, challenge, and improve AI-generated output while understanding risks like hallucinations and insecure code.
  • Indefinite U.S. work authorization is required.
