Advanced Software Engineer and Lead for Space and Embedded Crypto

What you'll do

• Lead a cross-functional team responsible for embedded Linux development on space-based payloads.
• Manage the software development process and provide technical leadership to the engineering team.
• Develop embedded C/C++ software based on the Xilinx Versal tool chain.
• Implement Red/Black secure architectures and secure storage techniques on Linux systems.
• Develop software that interacts with firmware and manages IP-based router functionality.
• Perform kernel driver development, U-Boot configuration, and Secure Boot implementation.
• Manage cost accounts for complex projects while ensuring technical standards are met.
• Utilize Python and CMake to support the software development lifecycle.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM field, plus 5 years of experience; or a Master's degree, plus 3 years of experience.
• Active Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to lead the software development process and provide technical leadership for a cross-functional team.
• Experience leading a team of software engineers and performing Cost Account Management for complex projects.
• Experience in Red/Black secure architectures (preferred).
• Experience developing embedded C/C++ Linux SW based on the Xilinx Versal tool chain (preferred).
• Technical skills including gRPC, Yocto, Kernel Driver development, U-Boot, Secure Boot, and Python with CMake.
