What you'll do

  • Apply machine learning techniques and data science theories to unique CCB data assets.
  • Build advanced solutions for credit decisions, fraud detection, and loan loss reserves.
  • Explore cutting-edge research in partnership with leading academic institutions.
  • Drive model-driven transformation across the business by collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Implement technologies including Deep Learning, NLP, Time Series, and Computer Vision.
  • Adhere to protocols and procedures when handling sensitive data and interacting with governance bodies.
  • Present research findings and technical results to non-technical audiences.

What we're looking for

  • Enrolled in a Ph.D. or 2-year Master’s degree program in math, science, engineering, computer science, or other quantitative fields.
  • Expected graduation date between December 2027 and July 2028.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and data science theory, techniques, and tools.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in Python.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with demonstrated research ability.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present findings to a non-technical audience.
  • Experience with modern machine learning tools such as PyTorch and XGBoost (preferred).
  • Experience with data tools such as Hadoop, PySpark, and SQL (preferred).
