Xcode Intelligence Foundation Engineer

What you'll do

• Build and maintain frameworks that integrate Xcode with third-party coding agents and large language models.
• Develop systems that empower developers to use machine learning tools in software development.
• Prototype and conceive the next generation of intelligent software development tools.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to integrated intelligence features and developer tools.
• Manage all stages of software production from initial design and planning through evaluation and maintenance.
• Address ethical implications and challenges associated with generative content and LLM integration.
• Design polished user experiences for developers on Apple platforms.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience developing desktop or mobile applications.
• Experience with generative AI concepts and technologies, including understanding Large Language Model mechanics.
• Familiarity with Swift and Apple’s platforms and SDKs.
• Experience building developer tools or LLM-assisted experiences.
• Deep understanding in areas such as performance optimization, API design, compilers, or information retrieval.
• A track record of building polished user experiences.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically, creatively, and solve problems with simple, effective approaches.
