The Wi-Fi Quality Engineering team is seeking a mid level quality engineer to join the Wi-Fi Tools and Automation Engineer, Wireless Technologies & Ecosystems role. What you'll do

Develop and operate large-scale test automation labs for multiple Apple products.
Write automated tests for new and existing features to validate Wi-Fi functionality.
Debug and troubleshoot hardware and software failures during testing cycles.
Build micro-services, tools, and pipelines to support continuous integration efforts.
Apply AI/ML techniques to improve test coverage, failure triage, and root-cause identification.
Develop AI-assisted automation tools like LLM-based test generation and agentic debugging assistants.
Prototype emerging AI tooling to streamline lab operations and reduce manual triage effort.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve software and hardware testability through better code design.

What we're looking for

3+ years of experience working in Software QA Automation Engineering.
Experience in one or more programming languages including Swift/SwiftUI, Objective C, or Python.
Experience automating tests at the Unit, API, UI, and non-UI levels.
Experience with Continuous Integration systems.
Experience with AI and problem solving.
BS in computer science or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with applying AI/ML techniques to test automation, triage, or analytics (preferred).
Experience integrating AI-assisted developer tools into engineering pipelines (preferred).
