What you'll do

  • Perform operations and maintenance for existing websites and applications in physical and cloud environments.
  • Develop new web applications and tools using Java and Angular.
  • Create, manage, and maintain software systems within the AWS cloud environment.
  • Assess and validate software requirements across the organization to meet web application needs.
  • Redesign existing web applications to add features, optimize performance, and improve stability.
  • Provide architectural design support and recommend specific tools, technologies, and techniques for implementation.
  • Provide content management support and technical maintenance for sponsor web sites.
  • Participate in software design discussions using Agile project management methodologies.

What we're looking for

  • Must have a TS/SCI with Poly.
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of experience OR a Master's and at least 6 years of relatable experience.
  • Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining software applications and systems.
  • Experience identifying and validating requirements for Software or Web sites.
  • Experience working in Cloud AWS Architecture.
  • Experience using Java (Springboot, Maven, Apache), Typescript (Angular, NestJS, React, Vue), Javascript (NodeJS, Express), and Linux.
  • Experience with MySQL or equivalent, developing complex data models, optimizing queries, and using ORM frameworks like TypeORM.
  • Experience with HTML, Spring Boot, WordPress, Windows/Linux administration, SharePoint, UI/UX, and Redis (preferred).
